I haven’t done one of these in a little bit, but, here’s another one. Warden goes bald for one frame, which makes this entire think worthwhile.
Here’s your proof, damnit!

Heads up for viewers!
A rerun of “Special Needs” is airing December 14th at 12:45 am, provided this isn’t pre-empted too.
Be sure to tune in, and as always, check out Adult Swim’s site!

Superjail -Assistant Animation Reel - Todd Favela
Here are a bunch of scenes I got to work on while doing clean up Superjail. You will recognize a lot from my previous postings. I will update this with a full on reel and info. I’m putting together my reel (translation: teaching myself after effects and learning how to insert texts and credits.)

Dec.21st will have a rerun of “The Trouble with Triples” in the 12:45 am slot. Technically, it’d be the 22nd then, but you get the idea.
Great episode, great re-run, be sure to watch if you can!

I think it’s just about done! I’m really happy with this. Superjail is a great show and it’s about time I drew something properly for it.

Look at this picture and notice how young the Warden looks. He looks like he could possibly be in his 30’s or 40’s. I would say 20’s, but, usually you don’t start balding whenever you’re that age. Now. why am I bringing this up? Because I have a theory. (This is a long post.)
To basically everyone, the Warden is your typical adult male who… Has some issues… People will believe he’s in his late 20’s to his early 40’s. I mean, how could you not believe that?
I mean, just look at him! He’s a 30 year old man who looks fresh as ever! He’s pretty young for how he talks to himself, and those bags under his eyes aren’t a dead giveaway. I mean, really!
Okay, okay… Enough sarcasm. So, firstly, I want you to know, a lot of people will start balding past their 50’s. Their hair will start to turn grey around their mid to late 30’s and so on. They will start to get wrinkly skin, and possibly even grow shorter.
Now, people do understand whenever you call yourself an “old prune”, as quoted by the Warden himself from Mr. Grumpy-pants. However, people don’t generally call themselves old until they’re at least 50. It sounds farfetched, but it’s true.
Where am I getting at here? Well, the way Warden treats himself in Mr. Grumpy-pants tells us: He’s an old man. He’s a very young-looking old man.
Generally, as people start to get older, while their skin will become wrinklier, they’ll start to become skinnier. Sometimes, they’ll even look anorexic. The Warden is a very slender man.
He’s been alive for quite a long time, too. It’s not confirmed what year Warden was born in, but it’s possible it might be somewhere around the 1930’s, due to the way he treats himself and his body characteristics.
But I’m looking at this illogically! you say? Well, yes, it may seem like it, but I’m not. It would make sense for him to call himself an old man who’s nearing death, because he is an old man who’s nearing death. The fact he’s skinny despite how much he eats is also another sign.
Now, remember when I said before, how your hair will start to turn grey as you get older? The Warden’s hair is still black! This is the perplexing thing, but it could be worked around. There’s no real story to the Warden’s private life, only to his child-hood. The fact he has a bathroom in his own room could be a possible sign that he uses dye in his hair to keep his hair raven black. It cannot be proven, but it cannot be disproven. That’s the whole point of theories, anyway.
I feel like the Warden could possibly be in his late 70’s to mid 80’s, but, he just looks like he’s in his 30’s, sounds like he’s in his 20’s, and acts like a 5 year old.

Have you studied the scrapbook pictures at the beginning of Ghosts? Warden had a mullet in high school, so possibilities are:
1. He’s almost 50
2. He’s really old and was decades ahead of fashion
3. We’re seeing different timelines altogether, as per the conflicting origin stories in Jailbot 2.0 and Superjail Six, and also reality fell apart in Time Police.

Does anyone remember that show superjail? I loved that show, what happened to it?
It aired season 4 this past fall, but nobody knows if it’s going to continue. Right now it’s just us fans tossing around art and headcanon. :3
A rerun of “The Trouble with Triples” will also air this coming Sunday in the 12:45am slot, but right now there’s no clue if they’ll be continuing to rerun the rest of season 3 + season 4.
Only the crew would really know what’s up, and even then, it might be a while before they can say it.

On Dec.28th at 12:45am EST (which technically makes it 29th, as always), you have the opportunity to catch a rerun of season 3’s "Nightshift"
LocateTV and IMDB both have further listings that may or may not be accurate, until Adult Swim releases further air dates:
- December 29th allegedly has a rerun of “Superbar” in the same timeslot (so, 30th, you get the picture).
- December 30th has “Combaticus”
- December 31st has “Dream Machine”
- January 1st has “Ladies’ Night”
If these listings are right, you have quite the chances to tune into Superjail!. That’s about whole week of reruns of season 1(!!), and if Adult Swim’s not gonna let you know that, this blog will first.
So for those fans who loved the Superpromo, it’s a good opportunity to tune on in and keep watching and supporting.
As always, you can also watch all four seasons and the pilot on Adult Swim’s website.
