Or: A pose that’s drawn so nice, you gotta use it more than twice.
Draft (2006):
Looks a little familiar, but unibrows, wrinkles, belt triangles, and hair are drawn out with slight difference. There were also a few coloring oversights to be had (one Twin doesn’t have his center part inked in). Palette seems to be a bit different as well, but that could also be chalked up to the video quality.
Final (2008):
The iconic one. There’s a bit of a color blip with the Twin on our right though, his stripe and triangle have a little more green than his brother. His smirk’s also smaller.
Terrorarium (2008):
The stripe colors were corrected when this Twin pose was recycled for the scene.
Mayhem Donor (2011)?:
Doesn’t seem to be the actual stock art, but appears to have been referenced from it and redrawn some. The belt triangles have changed a little, as with the hair curves. The Twin to our left must have had his stripe drawn in separately, as it falls a little lower. The uniform color palette shifted a little more towards a greenish tone, and the two are smirking at each other. Also note that while the stock art has the left side of their face appearing slimmer than the other, it’s mirrored here.
Season 3 promotional banner (2012):
Recolored to a slightly more saturated blue, and tweaked to have the Twins glancing at each other as well. Their smirks are identical here too, and their pupils are larger.
