Just so nobody goes all “she’s mary-sue these kind of FCs are awful”, they don’t have that kind of sexy relationship. She does love him, but he still prefers his ladies with curves, balloon tits and asses, not sticks with stretched ears. He doesn’t look at her in a sexual way.
They’re only buddies that just party hard and have fun, and Maelstrom wants to keep it that way. She loves and cares for him, but even if he showed interest, she doesn’t want a relationship to potentially ruin a friendship.
She doesn’t mind the friend-zone and plans to stay in the friend-zone. :3
